If you're thinking about a shorter haircut for the summer, you can get you hair styled for free and help children with cancer at the same time.
On Six in the Morning Tuesday, 10-year-old Anna Dennis donated two, foot-long braids to the Locks of Love program. She had no problem shedding the hair for a child she doesn't even know because she lost her grandmother to cancer. "It's just that it might make somebody happy to have hair because it's really thick and it's long."
If you want to particiapte in the Hair Affair, it will happen this Sunday, April 14th, from 1 until 5 PM.
Walk-ins at the City of Faith Towers at 81st and Lewis, are welcome, but you're asked to call ahead.
The number is 645-5460.
