Two house fires in Green Country Tuesday started as a result of lightning strikes.

Fire crews were called to Okmulgee County for a house fire in the town of Hectorville at around 9:00 am. When they arrived, the roof and attic were on fire. They quickly contained the fire... but authorities say there was still extensive damage to the house.

Also, a house in Tulsa caught on fire after it was struck by lightning. It happened in the 6900 block of South 30th West Avenue.

No injuries were reported in either fire.
