TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Jeremy Luster hit a two-run single in the 17th inning to lift Shreveport over Tulsa 4-2 in a marathon Texas League game late Tuesday.
Guillermo Rodriguez's home run in the seventh inning tied the game at 2-2 and pitchers on both sides held batters in check through the ninth, forcing extra innings. Neither team scored for seven innings.
Randy Goodrich combined with Benji Miller for a no-hitter over the last seven frames, picking up his first victory in two games.
The Swamp Dragons scored first in the third inning on an RBI-single by Ryan Luther. Tulsa's Travis Hafner hit a sacrifice fly to tie the game, and David Meliah's RBI-single put the Drillers ahead 2-1.
Chris Garza (0-1) suffered the loss for Tulsa, allowing six hits and two runs in the final 3 1/3 innings.
