KOTV is once again launching the Consumer Six Gas Gauge report. We're searching for the best deals in town and asking for your help. KOTV's Consumer Reporter Diane White says the price jump caught many drivers off guard. So KOTV checked stations in the Tulsa area to find which ones were offering special deals or lower prices. KOTV found lower prices in East Tulsa. The Flying J truck stop at 129th and East Admiral is a $1.66 a gallon. Moving to midtown, it's the same price at the Super Eleven at 18th and Cincinnati. And Albertsons at 21st and Memorial is $1.62 a gallon. The Wal-Mart at 81st and Riverside is also a $1.62 a gallon but has a special deal, if you spend at least five dollars for a gas card, you'll get three cents off each gallon. The cards are available at all area Wal-Marts that have a gas station. Prices are lower in Tahlequah. The Love's Station on Downing Street reports $1.54 a gallon and said most stations in town are less than a $1.60. If you spot any deals around town, give KOTV a call, we'll pass them on. If you want to report a gas price, call the Consumer Six gas gauge line at 732-6163 and leave the information on the voicemail.
