OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Cliff Brumbaugh singled home Craig Monroe with the winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning Friday night as Oklahoma beat Iowa 2-1 in the Pacific Coast League.
Iowa had tied the game on an RBI single by Hee Seop Choi in the top of the ninth.
Monroe led off the bottom of the inning with a walk against Rob Stanifer (2-2). He moved to second on a sacrifice, to third on a single by Michael Young and scored on Brumbaugh's hit.
The RedHawks' first run came on a bases-loaded walk in the fourth inning.
Brandon Villafuerte (2-2) got the victory in relief of Brian Sikorski, who went 8 1/3 innings.
Ruben Sierra and Mike Hubbard had two hits each for Oklahoma. Choi and Brian Banks did the same for Iowa.
