NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Scott Woods threw 1 2/3 innings of no-hit relief, helping Arkansas beat Oklahoma 5-4 Tuesday night.
Oklahoma (14-23) scored three runs against Wes McCrotty in the eighth inning to pull within one, but Woods slammed the door by retiring five straight batters for his third save of the season. Woods extended his scoreless streak to 14 1/3 innings.
Arkansas (19-19) scored three runs in the first off Austin Mix (0-7) and scored twice in the seventh for a 5-1 lead.
Justin Leraris (2-0) got the victory, giving up four hits in five innings.
