(Durant) - A Caddo woman who already faces a drug charge now faces more counts after allegedly using a Bible to try and smuggle marijuana into the Bryan County Jail.
Authorities say Mary Tinkler took the Bible to the jail and asked a jailer to give it to her husband, Joseph Tinkler.
The jailer inspected the Bible and found a green leafy substance and a hand-rolled cigarette that tested positive for marijuana.
Tinkler already faces a hearing on Thursday on a methamphetamine charge, and is now charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.
Joseph Tinkler is serving 15 years in prison after pleading no contest in January to manufacturing methamphetamine.
