EDMOND, OK -Â February 7, 2001 - Former Los Angeles Dodger pitcher Dave Walsh will be presenting his philosophy of pitching to amateur baseball coaches at the Edmond Baseball Academy coaches conference Saturday in Oklahoma City. Walsh will be joined by other top flight instructors including Edmond Santa Fe High School head baseball coach Lonny Cobble. Attendees will receive classroom instruction from certified high school coaches. Areas of discussion will focus on the mental aspects of Pitching, Hitting, Defense, and Coaching. This conference is for volunteer coaches to gain valuable coaching information before the season begins. The Edmond Baseball Academy (EBA) focuses on teaching the mental game of baseball and provides classroom instruction, team clinics, and traveling camps for amateur baseball players. The EBA is endorsed by University of Oklahoma pitching coach Ray Hayward, and Oklahoma City University hitting instructor Keith Lytle. Registration is $15 at the door. The event is Saturday, February 10th from 1:30 to 4:30 at 1000 NW 50th Street in Oklahoma City. Refreshments will be provided and you must be present to win door prizes.
