OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — All Big 12 Conference basketball teams will wear bands on team jerseys to commemorate those killed in the plane crash in which two Oklahoma State players died.
The black and orange bands will feature the Big 12 logo and fasten to the shoulder strap. Orange and black are the Oklahoma State colors.
Midwest Trophy Manufacturing is donating 500 bands. All Oklahoma State sports teams will wear the bands, said Donna Lamprecht, marketing manager for the company.
Killed in the crash Saturday near Denver were two players, six people in the team's traveling party and two pilots.
