Number 12 Oklahoma travels to take on Kansas

(Lawrence, Kansas-AP) -- Oklahoma and Kansas have been on very different paths as of late, but will meet tonight in Lawrence.

The Sooners have won four straight and are 13-and-4 overall.

Kansas has dropped two straight games and six of its last seven.

The Jayhawks are still looking for their first conference win.

But it will be tough against the Sooners, who are led by a core of solid scorers and have slowly climbed to be among the elite teams in women's basketball.

Junior guard Stacey Dales leads Oklahoma in scoring, averaging 16-point-six points a game. LaNeisha Caufield is second on the team, averaging 16-point-four points per game.

Kansas is led by senior center Jaclyn Johnson, who averages 15-point-nine points per game.

The game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:05 p-m.
