(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Two Oklahoma City eighth-graders accused of putting laxatives in their teachers' drinks may not be allowed back at school this year.

Eight other students were suspended for knowing about their plan and not telling on them.

The two Roosevelt Middle School teachers who were targeted were not injured.

School officials say the students will have disciplinary hearings and may be suspended for the rest of the year.

They say one student brought several laxative pills to school, then slipped a pill into a language art teacher's cup of hot tea.

Another student put a pill into a math teacher's soda.
