(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Several Oklahoma companies are assessing double-digit percentage losses in the value of their stock.

Tulsa-based A-A-O-N's stock fell by more than 17 percent yesterday, leaving company President Norman Asbjornson without an explanation. He says the company is doing well and the prospects for next year remain bright.

The cold weather is being blamed for a more than eleven percent drop in Sonic Corporation stock. Analysts say cold weather is bad news for Sonic because it means people aren't likely to roll down their car window to buy a cold drink.

Dobson Communications stock dropped by just more than ten percent, a loss blamed on an overall drop on the Nasdaq.
