OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Free agent John Coker, who most recently played in the CBA, signed with the Golden State Warriors.
The 29-year-old Coker appeared in two games with the CBA's Quad City Thunder, averaging 19 points, 9 rebounds and 1.5 blocks. The 7-foot, 255-pound center has played with Washington and Phoenix in the NBA.
Coker's addition raises the Warriors' active roster to 13 players, one above the normal league limit. The NBA made an exception for the Warriors, who have three players on the injured list — Chris Mills, Danny Fortson and Chris Mullin.
