(Norman-AP) -- A University of Oklahoma fraternity still can't move into the house it recently bought at an auction.
The Triangle Fraternity bought a 20-room nurses' retirement home a few blocks from the O-U campus. But city leaders have denied the fraternity a rooming and boarding license.
O-U President David Boren tried to help the fraternity brothers today by asking the Norman Board of Adjustment to overturn their ruling. Even that didn't work.
Residents of the neighborhood say the fraternity would bring noise and traffic problems. They have protested Triangle's attempt to relocate to the neighborhood.
