MIDDLETOWN, N.J. (AP) — Geraldo Rivera and his estranged wife have sold their seven-acre estate and the weekly newspaper they published.
The couple, who are getting a divorce, lived on the estate for 11 years. The property, which has two homes that overlook the Navesink River, was listed at $8.9 million, but the purchase price was not disclosed.
Rivera's wife, C.C. Dyer, said Tuesday the couple agreed to sell the estate and The Two River Times because they planned to move.
Both the estate and the newspaper were sold to California telecommunications executive Michael Gallagher, who told staff members at the paper that he did not plan to change its format.
