(Kiefer-AP) -- Secrecy surrounds the absence of Kiefer Public Schools Superintendent Tom Cameron.

Cameron is on leave from the district and has reportedly been absent for several days, but officials are not commenting on the reasons.

A school secretary says there has been no official explanation for the leave, and Cameron is declining to comment. Attorneys for Cameron and for the district are also refusing to discuss the situation.
