(Tulsa-AP) -- A recent poll shows Democrat Brad Carson is leading Republican Andy Ewing in the Second Congressional District.

The Oklahoma Poll, conducted for the Tulsa World, indicates Carson leads Ewing by a 44 percent to 29 percent margin.

Poll consultant Al Soltow says the 27 percent of undecided voters in the district will determine who wins the seat being vacated by U.S. Representative Tom Coburn.

Oklahoma's Second District is being watched closely by national political pundits as Democrats and Republicans fight for control of the U.S. House.

The Carson campaign says the Oklahoma Poll reflects its own polling.

The poll surveyed 600 registered voters in the district and has a four-point-one percent margin of error.
