(Norman-AP) -- Improvements to Oklahoma Memorial Stadium are among the highlights of the latest fund-raising campaign for athletic facility improvements at O-U.
O-U officials will announce tomorrow a 100 (M) million dollar fund-raising campaign started by former athletic director Steve Owens will be continued.
Current A-D Joe Castiglione (cast-stig-lee-OHN') says he hopes the construction will be completed within three years.
The stadium is set to receive an upper deck on the east side, new luxury suites and a brick facade, among other improvements.
Castiglione says the ultimate capacity of Memorial Stadium hasn't been determined. He says the new upper deck should bring capacity past 80-thousand.
Other projects in the plan include a new indoor practice facility for football, a new tennis facility and improvements to the softball stadium, soccer field and John Jacobs Track.
