(Eureka, Kansas-AP) -- An Oklahoma Air National Guard fighter jet out of Tulsa has crashed in Kansas.
Oklahoma National Guard Lieutenant Colonel Pat Scully says the crash happened about 2:30 p-m this afternoon near Eureka, Kansas.
Scully says four jets out of the 138th Fighter Wing were flying in formation as part of a routine training mission.
He says the lead jet crashed. Scully says the pilot ejected and appears to be in good condition at this time. The pilot's identity won't be released until his relatives are notified.
The cause of the crash hasn't been determined and the accident is under investigation.
