Nine skin cancer patients involved in a University of Oklahoma cancer study will be allowed to continue treatments with an experimental drug despite the potential dangers. The patients are aware of the dangers, and must sign consent forms. According to published test results, some animals died during testing of the vaccine which resulted in the O-U tests on humans to be stopped.
