Here’s a Consumer 6 alert about First Alert fire extinguishers. The Consumer Product Safety Commission is recalling more than 600,000 extinguishers because they might not work when the trigger is pulled. The extinguishers are either red or white and have the model number FE1A10G.
The affected extinguishers also have serial numbers beginning with R-H, R-K, R-L, or R-P. If you have one of these extinguishers, call First Alert at 1-800-323-9005.
