(Undated-AP) -- Those fires that burned more than eleven-thousand acres in Oklahoma's Arbuckle Mountains are now out.

About a-quarter inch of rain fell on the mountain range last night, helping to extinguish the last of the flames.

A night of steady rain improved the fire situation across much of Oklahoma but officials say the fire danger still remains. Ron Hill of the state Emergency Management Agency says the danger won't ease until there's a sustained widespread rain.
