Rams' Warner Has X-rays for Back

ST. LOUIS (AP) â€” St. Louis coach Mike Martz was surprised to find out that quarterback Kurt Warner had precautionary X-rays on his back after Sunday's game against San Francisco.

Warner has a history of occasional back spasms.

``It's something that's been nagging me for a little while,'' Warner said. ``It's obviously nothing serious.''

Martz said he had no idea.

``I didn't know anything about it,'' he said. ``Do I look dumb? See this list here, the injury report, Kurt's name is not on it.''

Warner, the NFL MVP last season, was 23-for-34 for 394 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions in the Super Bowl champion Rams' 31-24 victory over San Francisco.
