Morgan takes fourth at Kroger Senior Classic

(Mason, Ohio-AP) -- Oklahoman Gil Morgan has come up short in his title defense at the Kroger Senior Classic.

Morgan trailed second-round leader Larry Nelson by one stroke going into the final round. But he fell to fourth with a 68.

Hubert Green shot a six-under 64 yesterday to win the Senior P-G-A Tour Event. Green claims 210-thousand dollars for the win.

Morgan claims 84-thousand dollars for his fourth place finish.

Morgan finished the tournament with a final score of 203.

Morgan's fellow club mate at Edmond's Oak Tree Country Club, Doug Tewell, finished in the pack with final score of 220.
