The search continues for the suspect or suspects who stole a Geo Tracker and abducted two Tulsa children. 19-month-old Monique Collette and her six-month-old brother Demitri, were found safe Thursday morning in rural Ottawa County near Afton by a local fisherman.
The children were still buckled up inside their parent's vehicle which was stolen from a gas station early Tuesday evening. The Tracker is back in Tulsa where police are searching it for any physical evidence. Tulsa police remain confident they'll find those who are responsible. "It's a matter of turning over the right stone, and getting the right information,†said Tulsa Police Chief Ron Palmer. “We just haven't turned that stone over yet to resolve this issue to its finality.â€
Police are still counting on the public for help in solving this case. If you have any information, call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. There’s a $1,000 reward and you can remain anonymous.
