Tanagura, Japan-AP-- The University of Tulsa women's golf team has claimed second place at the Topy Cup, an annual U-S-Japan intercollegiate golf championship.

Texas won the event, finishing 27-over with 891. Tulsa was 20 strokes back.

Kinki University of Japan finished third at 54-over 918.

Kristin Dufour shot a one-under 71 for a three-stroke victory in the women's individual event. Dufour attends Texas. She finished the event in Tanagura, Japan, with a one-over 217. Teammate Jessica Reese finished three strokes behind.

Suzanne Fisher of Tulsa took fourth at ten-over 226.
