(Tulsa-AP) -- Two Tulsa mental health groups are awaiting the results of a state Department of Mental Health audit of Parkside Psychiatric Hospital.
Ron Raynolds is chairman of the board for the Tulsa Psychiatric Center. Raynolds says his group will probably take over the hospital now operated by Parkside Incorporated.
He says the psychiatric center could ask a consulting firm to assemble an interim management staff and review Parkside's operations and services.
Doctor Ken Bailey is Parkside's chairman of the board. Bailey says the hospital is considering three options.
If the psychiatric center cancels its operating agreement with Parkside, Bailey says the hospital will look to rent space so it could continue giving treatment.
He says the hospital could also contract work with other hospitals or rent space within another hospital.
Results of the state audit are expected by September 15th.
