(Hugo-AP) -- Two men injured when an Oklahoma National Guard truck overturned yesterday have been identified.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 21-year-old Shannon D. Pitts of Tishomingo was taken to Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City after suffering a head injury. Pitts was the truck's driver.

Troopers say 55-year-old passenger Jerry E. Nekuda of Del City was taken to a Paris, Texas, hospital to be treated for arm and head injuries.

Guard Lieutenant Colonel Pat Scully says the men assigned to the 13-45th Transportation Company based in McAlester were on a training mission when the accident occurred. They were hauling Multiple Launch Rocket System rockets to the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant for storage.

The truck overturned yesterday morning near Hugo. The scene was cleared without incident later in the day.
