(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Lieutenant Governor Mary Fallin says she's not bothered by all the fuss over Governor Keating's vice presidential hopes. For the moment, Fallin says she's content to just do her job.
Keating is being considered as a running mate for Texas Governor George W. Bush. If Keating is elected, the job of governor would fall to Fallin, a fellow Republican, for the next two years. That would give her a leg-up on other potential gubernatorial candidates in 2002.
Fallin says she's looking at running for governor in 2002. But for the moment, Fallin says she's content to concentrate on the lieutenant governor's job. Fallin says Keating becoming vice president would make no difference in whether she decides to run for governor.
