Gas prices actually dropped in Green Country this week. It was the first decrease in the price of gasoline since March.
Here's the lowdown on lower prices at the pump. The Sinclair station located at 18th Street and Boston Avenue saw a 20 cent decrease in one week's time. They're now one of the lowest priced gas stations in town. You can fill up there for a $1.57 a gallon
The Flying J Truck Stop, Admiral Boulevard and 129th East Avenue, is also selling gas at $1.57. They were at $1.59, but they dropped the price by two cents Friday afternoon.
You can top off your tank at the Stop Inn located at 5th Street and Utica Avenue for a $1.64. Or if you are near 11th Street, the Kwick Stop at 11th Street and 124th East Avenue has its gas priced at $1.66 for a gallon of regular unleaded.
If you find a lower priced gas station in your area, we'd like to put it in our Gas Gauge report. Call us at 583-1502 or dial #06 on your U.S. cellular phone. E-mail us at gasgauge@kotv.com.
