A group of people were huddled under a tree at a game in Annapolis.
The lightning strike injured eight people and killed one man.
Two of the victims are in serious condition.
"Games were breaking up people were heading under trees then there was a loud of thunder and bright light saw a few people falling down and the rest of the people running over there to see what was going on," says Ric Kempton, witness.
