(Stillwater-AP) -- Matt Holliday has a decision coming up in a little more than a year.
That's when the minor league baseball player will reassess his baseball career and can consider throwing footballs for Oklahoma State instead.
The highly recruited Holliday had the choice of playing fo rO-S-U or getting three-quarters of a million dollars for signing with the Colorado Rockies. But the third baseman had an agreement that he could return to football after three full season of minor league ball.
A spot on the Rockies roster might keep Holliday in baseball. But the Rockies just gave Colorado third baseman Jeff Cirillo a contract extension.
Holliday says if he ever plays football again, it will be for Oklahoma State.
