For someone who says he isn't worried about building a career, Joshua Jackson is well on his way. Jackson, who was born on June 11, 1978, is familiar to TV audiences as Pacey on the WB network's ``Dawson's Creek.'' He had two new films this spring: ``The Skulls'' and ``Gossip.'' ``I have high expectations of myself as a person, but my ambition is more to succeed as a human being than a business entity,'' Jackson says.

Ally Sheedy is back in business after more than a decade of living with irrelevance. ``There was a whole period of time when I just could not get seen for a job,'' says Sheedy, who was born on June 13, 1962. Now a slew of edgy, indie roles has brought renewed attention to the star of the 1985 film ``The Breakfast Club.'' She won the National Society of Film Critics' best actress award for her role in the 1998 film ``High Art.'' She played the part of a lesbian drug addict. ``As far as my career is concerned, as far as my work is concerned, `High Art' is the best thing that ever happened to me,'' she says.
