OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Gov. Frank Keating has named Jim Goodwin of Tulsa to the Board of Trustees of OSU-Tulsa.

Goodwin is an attorney and publisher of the Oklahoma Eagle weekly newspaper. He is active in civic organizations in Tulsa.

"Jim Goodwin's unquestionable intellect, integrity and record of civic involvement in Tulsa all indicate how fortunate OSU-Tulsa is to have him serve on its board of trustees," Keating said. "It is also important for the board to benefit from diversity, which will be strengthened by Mr. Goodwin, who has done much for Tulsa's African-American community."
