(Norman-AP) -- For Oklahoma officials it's been there, done that, ready to do it again.

The Sooners are staging the first national campaign in seven years to promote quarterback Josh Heupel andlinebacker Rocky Calmus.

Oklahoma sports information director Mike Prusinski says the last national campaign done to draw attention for award consideration was for linebacker Aubrey Beavers in 1993.

Oklahoma is mailing a postcard featuring Heupel titled "Precision 2000." It features Heupel being named Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year, Heupel's school and conference records and says he's the most accurate passer in Big 12 history.

The Calmus postcard shows the first-team All-Big 12 linebacker blasting through an offensive player's obvious hold with the caption of "No Holding Him Back."
