(Norman-AP) -- The fifth-ranked Oklahoma Sooners are again Big 12 softball champions.

The Sooners officially clinched their second straight conference crown with a 6-to-2 win in Norman Sunday over the Kansas Jayhawks. The Big 12 title is the third for the Sooners, who also won the championship in the inaugural season of conference in 1996.
