(Enid-AP) -- Former Oklahoma State star Adrian Peterson is playing minor league basketball in Enid in hopes of again attracting the attention of the N-B-A.

He scored just two points and struggled with one-for-five shooting last night as the Oklahoma Storm lost in double overtime 121-to-118 against Dodge City.

Peterson says it will take him all of this season to get back to playing well after being sidelined with a knee injury.

Peterson is third leading scorer in O-S-U history.

He tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee last year during an N-B-A pre-draft camp in Chicago.

Peterson had surgery on the same day of the N-B-A draft in his home town of Little Rock, Arkansas.

He had been projected as an early second round pick in the N-B-A draft but went undrafted after the injury.
