TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A two-game suspension was given to Oral Roberts baseball player Billy Joe Richardson for violating the Mid-Continent Conference code of ethics, Commissioner Jon A. Steinbrecher announced.
Richardson was ejected during Sunday's doubleheader against Oakland University for having a confrontation with the catcher. He then began arguing with the umpire over his ejection.
Richardson sat out during ORU's 8-4 victory Tuesday night at Arkansas and will miss the first game of the Golden Eagles' doubleheader Friday with Southern Utah.
