(Manhattan, Kansas-AP) -- Bentson Oleen hit a home run and had four R-B-Is as Kansas State beat Oklahoma State 14-to-7 Sunday, taking a series from the Cowboys for the first time since 1977.
Starter Jason Wells got the win for Kansas State, giving up seven runs on six hits and seven walks. He also struck out eight over six and a third innings.
The Wildcats took a 6-to-1 lead after three innings, scoring three in the first and two in the third. Chad Tabor had a double and triple and two R-B-Is for the Wildcats.
Oklahoma State starter Frank Bludau gave up six runs, five earned, in two and a third innings. Nebasett Brown added four R-B-Is on three-for-four hitting for the Cowboys.
O-S-U drops to 19-and-14 on the season and 6-and-9 in Big 12 play.
