The City of Tulsa issued 659 permits for new singly family residential construction in 1999. The stated value was $102.4 million, up $18.5 million (22.6 percent) from 1998. The City also issued 1,424 multi-family permits/units for new multi-family apartment construction with a stated value of $92.9 million, down slightly from the previous year. Overall, the City issued 2,083 permits for new residential construction with a stated value of $195.4 million, up $18.8 million.
