(Little Rock-AP) -- Arraignment has been postponed for a U-A-L-R basketball player charged with rape. Mark Green was to have appeared in Little Rock Municipal Court today. But a clerk says that was delayed because Green was released from jail on $25,000 bond. She says a new court date has not been set.
Green is charged along 17-year-old Michael Banks in the rape of a 16-year-old girl at Green's apartment. Green and Banks told police that the girl had consented to have sex with them. The 19-year-old Green is a freshman guard at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He averaged nearly five points per game last season. In high school, he played at Little Rock Central.
