(Ada-AP) -- Authorities say this morning's massive fire at the Evergreen Mill and Feed Store in Ada is close to being contained.

Ada Fire Marshal Don Moore says the fire is definitely down. Moore says flying embers from northerly winds threatened other downtown Ada businesses and made small fires on the roof of the Ada Evening News and the Shaw Center.

The fires were extinguished quickly.

Moore says there have been no injuries reported from the fire in the 150-foot structure which was reported at 5:07 a-m.

A four-block area around the mill was reportedly evacuated because of concerns about burning grain and grain dust. However, the Irving Community Center which is designated as an evacuation center is apparently not being used.

Twenty-two fire departments from as far as Seminole and Pauls Valley were called in to help fight the fire. The mill processes grain.
