(Toronto-AP) -- Dennis Rodman returned to the Dallas Mavericks' lineup yesterday, helping his team beat the Toronto Raptors on the road 100-to-96. Besides grabbing a game-high 16 rebounds, Rodman also got the fans' attention by sitting down on the court a couple of times to protest not getting calls from referees.
The eccentric forward was suspended for a game after sitting on the court in protest last week. Rodman played his college ball at Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.
Cedric Ceballos and Michael Finley each scored 23 points and Erick Strickland added 18 as the Mavericks win their fourth road game in a row. Vince Carter lead Toronto with 24 points. Antonio Davis had 20 points and eight rebounds, and Tracy McGrady scored 15 points off the bench. Toronto had a chance to tie the game at 98 with 22 seconds to go but two missed free throws sealed the raptors fate.
