(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Consecutive victories over ranked teams have propelled the Oklahoma State Cowboys into the Top Ten in The Associated Press national basketball poll. O-S-U moved from 14th last week to Number Eight today.
The Cowboys beat Oklahoma 74-to-71 Saturday and beat Kansas earlier last week. Oklahoma fell from 16th to 20th in the lasted A-P poll. But Tulsa moved up from 15th to 13th. Oklahoma State's Top Ten appearance was the first for the Cowboys since November 29th, 1993.
Two other Big 12 schools remained in the Top 25. Texas is 17th and Kansas is 24th. Cincinnati, with the nation's longest winning streak at 15 games, is Number One. Stanford and Duke are second and third for the fourth straight week.
