(Claremore-AP) -- Records at a Claremore physician's office were seized by authorities after the arrest of a Claremore educator and civic leader. Police are also gathering records from area pharmacies.

Margret Susan "Maggie" Ledbetter was accused of selling controlled drugs to state undercover agents. The 47-year-old Ledbetter is director of public services for the Claremore School District and former principal of its alternative education program.

She was arrested after a two-month undercover investigation by Claremore police. Ledbetter is accused of selling Lortab, Xanax and Phentermine pills to undercover agents with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs. Lortab is a painkiller. Xanax is an anti-depressant. Phentermine is an appetite suppressant.

Detective Sergeant Wayne Stinnett says she told the agents she could get Lortabs anytime she wanted through prescriptions.
