(Foxboro, Massachusetts-AP) -- Bill Belichick says he can't wait to start working. It may have something to do with the fact that he plunged himself into joblessness three weeks ago. Belichick has been named the head coach of the New England Patriots ending an N-F-L tug-o-war that started when he quit as Jets head coach a day after getting that job. He's had his eye on the New England job since then. The two teams brought an end to the legal wrangling that followed the sudden resignation. The Jets freed up Belichick to speak with New England by agreeing to a deal to swap draft choices. Among the ones going to New York is the Patriots number one pick this year. Belichick had a 37-and-45 record in five seasons as Cleveland head coach.
