Police are trying to piece together just what led to two people being severely assaulted. Just before 8 Saturday morning Tulsa police got a call that they are still working to solve. A man on North Maybelle called 911 saying there was a body in front of his house. Turns out the man had no identification on him and was unconscious.

Police say it appears he's been kicked, stabbed and cut extensively in the groin area. He's also been burned with an iron. When police took him to a Tulsa hospital they were told about a woman who walked into the hospital just moments before she had been beaten and had similar burn marks.

"Due to some similarities in some of the wounds there is the idea that they may be related," says Tulsa Police Captain Jim Hunter.

Police say they have identified the woman but not the young man.

"We're concerned with asking the public if they know anyone a black man in his late 20s about 5'8" to 5'10" 160-170 lbs please call Crimestoppers," says Hunter.

They are hoping someone will come forward to help them solve this case that doesn't have much of a trail. If you know anything about this case, please call crimestoppers at 596-cops. You don't have to give your name and the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you cash if your tip leads to an arrest.
