Street improvement areas include:

**101st Street south between Delaware Avenue and Jamestown Avenue will be closed while workers install storm sewer pipes along the south side of 101st Street. This is part of an ongoing project which includes widening 101st Street to three lanes between Delaware and South Gary Place, and installing a 60-inch stormwater drainage line to drain the area into the Arkansas River.

**41st Street and Memorial Drive: Work has begun to relocate a 48-inch water line along East 41st Street between Memorial Drive and Mingo Road. Traffic delays are possible just east of the 41st and Memorial intersection.

East 71st Street, just west of Sheridan Road: Construction crews are installing a storm sewer pipe across 71st Street for drainage of the Summit Square shopping center. Eastbound traffic on 71st Street is narrowed to the two inside lanes until Wednesday Dec. 8.

East 66th Street South is closed to traffic from Yale Avenue east to Darlington Avenue (near Laureate Psychiatric Clinic & Hospital) for 7 to 10 days for street repair. Those who usually use 66th Street to get to the William and Kelly medical buildings can use 65th Street. Or they can enter the St. Francis Hospital parking lot from either 61st Street or Yale Avenue and use the road behind St. Francis to get to the medical buildingsâ€™ parking lots. To get to Laureate, motorists should use the main entrance on Yale Avenue. Residents in the Warrenton subdivision should use Hudson Avenue off 61st Street to enter their neighborhood.

61ST STREET, MEMORIAL TO SHERIDAN â€“ 61st Street is closed between 76th East Avenue and Sheridan Road while construction crews build retaining walls and lower the hill. 61st Street is being widened to five lanes (center left-turn lane) between Memorial Drive and Sheridan Road.

SHERIDAN ROAD, 61ST TO 71ST STREETS: Traffic is moving on the completed southbound lanes. Construction is in progress to widen Sheridan to five lanes, including a center left-turn lane.

15th STREET, Harvard to Urbana Avenue: Eastbound traffic is narrowed to one lane during water line relocation.

North Cincinnati Avenue between Jasper and Oklahoma Streets: Traffic has shifted to northbound lanes; crews have begun construction of southbound lanes.

ADMIRAL PLACE BETWEEN SOUTH 129TH EAST AVENUE AND SOUTH 145TH EAST AVENUE: The road is being widened and the street is closed to through traffic. Motorists are advised to use either 11th Street or Pine Street for an alternate route.

**Pothole repairs are in progress in these areas: Apache Street to Pine Street, Lewis Avenue to Peoria Avenue; and 51st Street to 61st Street, Lewis Avenue to Riverside Drive.

**Pavement repairs are in progress in these areas: Apache Street to Pine Street, Lewis Avenue to Peoria Avenue; 61st Street to 71st Street, Sheridan Road to Yale Avenue; 36th Street North to 46th Street North, Peoria Avenue to Cincinnati Avenue; South Mingo Road between 96th Street and 101st Street; and 31st Street South to 41st Street South, 161st East Avenue to 145th East Avenue.
