The calendar read December 2nd, but Mother Nature followed her own schedule Thursday evening.
A fast moving storm system spawned heavy rain, high winds and hail as it moved from western Oklahoma to the east.
It also produced a tornado near Guthrie, in Logan County, which threatened Mulhall and did some damage east of Perry, in Noble County.
An Oklahoma Highway Patrol dispatcher reported the tornado stayed on the ground for nearly five miles and damaged farm structures and outbuildings east of Perry, in the northcentral part of the state. No injuries were reported.
The line of storms continued to move to the northeast, with heavy winds and rains late into Thursday night.
