Four law-enforcement officers and two civilians have been charged with drug crimes after they allegedly kicked in the door of house and stole money and cocaine last week.
Charges against the six men -- three of them brothers -- were filed yesterday in Houston. One Houston police officer two Pasadena marshal's deputies and a reserve deputy with the Pasadena marshal's office were among those charged.
Hearings are scheduled for tomorrow. Bond for each was set at $1 million or more.
Investigators said one of the suspects - while on duty - pulled over a recreational vehicle Thursday, arrested its driver and took cocaine from the driver.
Authorities say he and his accomplices - who were driving Pasadena city marshal's vehicles - then went to a home where they kicked in the door and took more cocaine and money.
The officers have been relieved of duty pending the outcome of the case.
